Jonathan's diverse career spanned fashion, bio-research, and technology. However, it was his enlistment in the U.S. Navy as a Search and Rescue Swimmer at 19 that set him on a transformative path. After completing a graduate degree in electrical engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and exploring Europe, he settled in Austin, Texas, to pursue his passion for film.

He started his passion as a photographer while traveling around the world which eventually drew him to pursue filmmaking. In the midst of this period of self-discovery, he started his acting career and developed a deep affection for the all-encompassing nature of filmmaking, both in front of and behind the lens. This passion led him to delve into the realms of writing, cinematography, and directing, ultimately creating his own portfolio of short films and music videos. His distinctive approach to storytelling endeavors to captivate the audience on an intellectual plane, often employing abstract and enigmatic elements to immerse them deeply within the narrative. At the core of Jonathan's filmmaking ardor lies an aspiration to craft an interactive experience where viewers assume an integral role in the unfolding story.
